ABOUT DAVID
David Ferro is a teacher, writer, and performer of music. He has a Bachelor’s degree in music education from Adelphi University.
Throughout his formal education, David was trained on a variety of instruments, from strings, to woodwinds, to brass, and vocals.
His main instruments are guitar, bass, and piano/keyboard. At Music For Everyone, David offers lessons for a variety of groups and instruments.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at Nassau Community College, where he teaches guitar and music theory.
​David believes in having a flexible teaching method, depending on each student’s individual needs. He programs each student’s lessons based on their own interests and goals.

How do you help students reach their musical goals?
We discuss short term/long term goals, and make sure every task in each lesson is in some way getting us closer to those goals.

What is your favorite thing about music?
Being able to play music with other people. Music is a social activity to me.
