Marc Joseph is a Music Producer/DJ/Songwriter who specializes in Indi-Pop, Electronic, Hip-Hop and genre blending compositions for major labels, TV/film and commercials.

 

He has 20+ years of experience in the music business, producing, collaborating and remixed records for many major-label artists and TV Shows including Kaskade, Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, & Travis Scott with featured placements on The Vampire Diaries, X-Factor UK, & The 100s.

How do you help students reach their musical goals?

I always let the student lead so they can reach their maximum potential at their own pace. I like to find out what their goals are and what they want to achieve so I can make the learning experience not only fun but retainable.

What made you want to become a teacher?

Some of the best lessons and techniques I've learned was only because I've always been around mentors to gain knowledge from. I always wanted be in a position to pass on that same knowledge to the next generation of music producers and DJs.

What is your favorite thing about music?

My favorite thing about music is the way it can instantly alter moods no matter the place or situation. I've always been intrigued with the science of cymatics and how music is one of the very few elements that can be used as therapy not only for the mind and body but for the soul.
